Welcome to the Grand Canyon Community News Weekly email for Nov 1st. Our goal is to combine all Grand Canyon area Activities, Events, Meetings, Volunteer Opportunities in one newsletter and send it out weekly. Starbucks is coming soon to Tusayan. Delaware North is looking for part-time people to work in the new operation.  There will be an open house on Monday November 6th from 4pm - 8 pm.  Or apply on-line here.

Rotary is seeking nominations for Community Leader of the Year award.  Nominations can be submitted to Rob Gossard via email or by mail to Rotary, PO Box 696, Grand Canyon, AZ 86023.  To nominate a community member simply draft a short paragraph about the person and submit no later than Nov 15th.  Winner will be announced at their annual Holiday Dinner Dance which will be held on Saturday December 9th at the El Tovar.  Cost is $50 per person with live music by Exit 64. The Grand Canyon PTA  ?is selling T-Shirts to support PTA initiatives.  The shirts are available for purchase until November 9th.  Order and pay on-line and you can have your shirt delivered to the school for pick up.  For a slight shipping fee shirts can also be mailed.  Check out their newly designed shirts and order one today.

The Polar Express is ?Coming Soon to Grand Canyon IMAX  Beginning November 11th through December 30th the National Georgraphic Grand Canyon IMAX will be showing The Polar Express in 70 mm IMAX each night at 6:30 pm.

60th Annual Christmas Bazaar
