Public Comment on the Tusayan Community Trails Master Plan Extended Until May 7th, 2018
The Community Trails Master Plan was developed by the Town of Tusayan and Trails Inspire, LLC and was unanimously approved by the Town Council in October 2017. The approval was contingent on a period of public scoping to receive feedback on the plan from locals, trail users, stakeholders, and recreational user groups. All comments that are within the scope of the project will be considered in the development of the final Master Plan. Make your voice heard today about the future of recreation in Tusayan by participating in the comment process.
Public comment on the plan is open beginning on March 21st and ending on May 7th, 2018.
Visit http://tusayan-az.gov/trail-info/ to view the Master Plan and submit comments online. Comments can also be submitted via email to tusayantrails@gmail.com, or by mail to Town of Tusayan – PO Box 709 Tusayan, Arizona, 86023.
A public meeting on the Master Plan took place on Wednesday, March 28th at Tusayan Town Hall, 845 Mustang Drive. The meeting consisted of a short presentation about the project and an open-house style showing of maps and descriptions of the new trail segments. Visit http://bit.ly/TusayanTrailsPublicComment to view the presentation.

Box-Tops wanted!
Here is an easy way to help our local school - check those boxtops - the school earns $0.10 cash per boxtop. Check your tops clip them and turn them in asap!

Road Detours
Here is the official link with maps for the road detour https://www.nps.gov/grca/learn/management/construction.htm Please note there will be a lot of traffic on Center Road. Road speeds are being reduced to 15 mph - please follow those limits and keep an eye out for our local kids that cross that road regularly for school and to get to the Recreation Center. Stop signs have also been added to help reduce speeds. Many visitors have been lost in residential areas as well - if you see a confused driver please give them some Grand Service and help them out by redirecting them.

We have added a lot to our Google Calendar so please take a look here.
