North Rim Campground Reopens with Reservations Now Available Through October 15

June 6, 2026

The North Rim Campground officially reopened for the 2026 season on June 1. As of June 2, reservations are available through Recreation.gov for stays through October 15, 2026, when the campground season will conclude. While most campsites are now available by reservation, five campsites will remain available for walk-in camping throughout June.

Visitors should be aware that services and operations on the North Rim remain limited for the 2026 season. Potable water is not available within the campground but may be purchased at the nearby General Store. Portable toilets are available throughout the campground, while shower and laundry facilities remain closed for the season.

Fire Restrictions are in effect across the North Rim, including the campground, due to limited water availability for fire suppression and public safety concerns. Campfires, charcoal fires, and all other open flames are prohibited. Outdoor smoking is also prohibited except within an enclosed vehicle.
