From the South Rim Chamber and Visitors Bureau: 4th of July Celebration Parade & Party

Dear Community,
The Grand Canyon Chamber & Visitors Bureau (chamber) is again seeking your help for this years 4th of July Celebration Parade & Party. Parade time is at 2:30pm with the lineup stating at 2pm on FS Road 302. The party will be from 3-7pm on the paved parking lot in-between the IMAX and RP’s Stage Stop.
We will be celebrating 100 Years of the National Park Service for both the parade and party. And we are very excited to have Michael Grimm, the season five winner of America's Got Talent, performing at our party with local band Exit 64.
Items with this letter are a parade entry form, a booth application form and a flyer. We are asking entities to sign up for a parade entry and a booth. For a booth we are asking for a minimum of a 50/50 split for the entity and the non-profit chamber and to provide things like, but not limited to, the examples listed below. We ask you provide your own shade, tables, table clothes or whatever your booth may need.

dropped by the chamber office or mailed to the address below.

Grand Canyon Brewery- Beer
Red Feather & RP’s- Cotton Candy, Snow Cones & Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Big E Steakhouse- Turkey Legs
Bright Angel Bicycles is handling the kid’s bike decorating contest and prizes.
Pink Jeeps Tours is handling the Kid Zone Games.
Other ideas for booths (but not limited to):
Corn on the Cob
Tacos
Pizza by the Slice
Other Desserts
Pies
Other non-alcoholic drinks
And other great ideas your entity could have??
The chamber is seeking auction items and helpers for set up and tear down as well. Set up will start the afternoon of July 3. We would like to thank you in advance for your consideration of support.
