Brady Harris has been selected to serve as Tusayan’s Vice Mayor. The political newcomer received the most votes during the last election for Town Council. He is replacing Becky Wirth who is still serving on the council. Harris will also serve as Tusayan’s representative on the Northern Arizona Council of Governments. 

In other council news, fiber optic internet service is closer to reality in Tusayan. The Grand Canyon School District has received a grant to bring a fiber optic connection to the district. Once the fiber optic connection has been in use for two years, Tusayan would be allowed to tap into the system.
