Tusayan has hired Cynthia Seelhammer as  interim Town Manager. The Town Council voted 4 to 0 to have her return to Town Hall. Prior to her most recent job as Coconino County Manager she served as Tusayan’s interim Town Manager. During the interview process, Councilman Al Montoya said he had fond memories of working with her previously and was glad she was being interviewed.

Seelhammer said she is aware of the Town’s current financial challenges related to an unsuccessful budget override. She has also done some research on Tusayan’s affordable housing efforts.
