Ramada For Tusayan Sports Complex Back On Track
May 14, 2021
The Tusayan Town Council is taking steps to make sure plans for the Ramada at the Tusayan Sports Complex address the town’s needs and budget concerns. Plans call for the Ramada to also serve as an outdoor classroom for the Grand Canyon School District. As a result the Ramada will have to be wired for electricity and some form of shade screens would be needed to accommodate video presentations. There is also the issue of additional parking spaces.
When the designer and contractor expressed concerns about establishing a refined scope of work, Vice Mayor Brady Harris said, “This is a first phase of a multi-phased sports complex project. All of the variables will be accounted for.”
