COVID-19 Vaccination Update

The May 26th COVID-19 vaccination event in Tusayan saw 119 people get vaccinated. According to Tusayan Fire Chief Greg Brush, about 80 people received their second dose of the Moderna vaccine and about 40 were single dose vaccinations

Brush said, "I'd like to thank North Country Healthcare for teaming up with TFD, the vaccination events exceeded all expectations."

The vaccinations were available to residents 18 years or older in Tusayan, the Grand Canyon, or Valle.

As of May 22, 204 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in and around the Grand Canyon. There have been 17,715 cases in Coconino County.
