Two Fires Keep Tusayan Fire Fighters Busy

The Tusayan Fire District responded to two fires in two days in late September.
On September 21st crews responded to a structure fire in Valle. It was a camper trailer residence in Grand Canyon Junction.
The photo provided by Tusayan Fire shows the structure was
a total loss. High Country Fire also responded to the blaze.
On September 22nd there was a fire at a single-family residence at the Grand Canyon National Park. Tusayan Fire assisted the GCNP Fire Department.
There was no loss of life in either blaze.
