The official renaming ceremony for Havasupai Gardens drew more than  150 people to the public ceremony at Bright Angel trailhead .The crowd heard from Havasupai tribal leaders and community members about the history of their families at Havasupai Gardens.  A smaller event was held at Havasupai Gardens. A number of Tusayan residents attended including Mayor Clarinda Vail.
