Tusayan's  ongoing efforts to limit light pollution have made a difference and they have made the area a popular location for star gazers.

Tusayan recently hosted a series of astronomy events in association with the National Park Service.  These events included lectures by the astronomer in residence, a showing of an IMAX movie and telescope viewings. 

All of the events were well attended.  The Town hopes to repeat the events in the spring.
