The Town of Tusayan Trail Project has reached a key milestone with the completion of 2.8 miles of new trail segments which include the Town of Tusayan Forest Trail Short Loop and Connector Trail. The Town of Tusayan Trail Project is a part of an effort to enhance Tusayan’s outdoor recreational opportunities. When finished, the trail system will cover 11.8 miles.

The Town of Tusayan is making sure the process remains respectful of the area's historical significance and protect Native American archaeological sites. The newly completed 2.8 miles of trail will soon be open to the public, with additional sections planned for completion in the spring and summer of 2025.
