The help wanted sign is out at Town Hall. So far no one has applied to fill a vacancy on the Tusayan Town Council following the death of of Council Member Kathryn Kanallakan who passed away in March. Mayor Clarinda Vail asked fellow council members to assist her in recruiting a new member during the May 13th meeting.

In addition to a vacancy on the Town Council, Tusayan is also seeking residents to apply for open seats on the Planning and Zoning Commission. 

Mayor Vail notes,“These vacant roles offer an opportunity to serve your community and help shape the future of Tusayan. The strength of our community lies in the active participation of its residents.  I ask for caring people to please step forward by putting your name in for a planning and zoning or council position.”
