Project Update: Taxiway Renaming Ahead

As part of the ongoing Grand Canyon National Park Airport Runway Rehabilitation Project, crews are working toward another milestone updating the taxiway designations that will officially go into effect when the rehabilitated runway reopens.

These updates are part of an airport-wide effort to align with FAA naming conventions and simplify airfield navigation, which enhances safety and efficiency at the airport.

This update will bring the airport in alignment with FAA naming conventions and simplify airfield navigation for pilots and ground crews.

Here are the upcoming changes:

Taxiway P ? Taxiway A
Taxiway B ? Taxiway A1
Taxiway C ? Taxiway A2
Taxiway D ? Taxiway A3
Taxiway E ? Taxiway A4
Taxiway F ? Taxiway A5
Taxiway G ? Taxiway A6
