Utility designation within Tusayan will begin the week of 3-2-26. The field work will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks to complete. The designating work will be non-destructive. Paint markings will be visible in the field, and the locations will be recorded. The second phase will include locating and will begin in mid-April. It may take several weeks depending on the number of potholes needed. This work involves vacuum excavation to locate the utilities. Holes created by the vacuum excavation will be immediately back-filled once the utility location is recorded.  

Field surveying activities will also begin the week of 2-23-26. This work will be non-destructive and will include supplemental field survey in support of engineering design as well as locating existing property and right-of-way monuments to better the location of existing property lines.
