Stilo’s attempts to trash the Grand Canyon are making news across the country.

Here is a link to a report that aired on CBS this morning in which the Tusayan development was prominently featured, and we don’t mean in a good way.

As the Town considers ways to better market Tusayan, it should be noted that Stilo’s efforts to trash the fragile environment surrounding the Canyon shed a stark spotlight on the tragic consequences.

If Stilo gets its way, Tusayan will be known as the Town that allowed a developer to trash the Grand Canyon. If that happens maybe the Town should consider changing its name.
