Stilo Camper Village Site Plan Falls Short
March 22, 2015
Stilo's submitted site plan for Camper Village falls short. After missing deadlines, and missteps with respect to design, the latest plan is short on details. It lacks specifics on acreage and the primary entry site crosses two parcels Stilo does not own.
After getting a look at what Stilo submitted, Town Manager Will Wright sent a memo to the Town Council which said, "After an depth discussion it was determined that the site plan needed additional work to fully share the intent and scope of the overall plan."
An informational presentation will happen March 24th in which Stilo is supposed to present more details. The agenda for that meeting said this will be a discussion item. It also includes the site plan that has been submitted.
Pictured here is a bird's eye view of Stilo's plans. Details are scare and the same holds true for the entire plan.
The Camper Village site has been a challenge. Thus far the only thing Stilo has put there are trailer homes and whether or not that is the image Tusayan wants on display on Highway 64 is up for debate. Here is a link to a public records response which includes recent correspondence on this issue along with the submitted site plan.
