Tusayan Election Update
August 19, 2016
Who will be the elected to the Tusayan Town Council will be decided November 8th instead of August 30th because of a printing error that was caused by the Town of Tusayan, according to a town news release.
There is still an election August 30th, but only for county, state or federal candidates.
As for November 8th, there are five candidates seeking two four-year seats. The are Al Montoya, Rebecca Wirth, David Chavez, Anavon Harris, Robert Gossard. Wirth Harris and Gossard had to re-submit their nominating paperwork because of the error.
The five are the only candidates listed on the ballot but there is still time for a write-in candidacy.
Craig Sanderson is running unopposed for Mayor.
